Start Date: August 2025The University of St Andrews wishes to recruit an outstanding individual to the position of Lecturer in Organic Chemistry.This position is part of an initiative to strengthen and expand Organic Chemistry research in the School of Chemistry at St Andrews. The successful candidate will be encouraged to establish productive collaborations within the School of Chemistry as well as with other Schools within the University and appropriate partnerships from around the world.You will be a scholar with a growing international research reputation in Organic Chemistry or at its interface with an allied discipline. You will also have a strong commitment to developing and delivering high quality education within Chemistry in general. The successful candidate will be expected to establish an exciting, well-funded research programme that strengthens or complements those already present within the School. The successful candidate will be expected to grow their portfolio of research publications and contribute significantly to the teaching of Organic Chemistry to undergraduate and taught postgraduate students from a diversity of backgrounds.Employees of the University have access to a wide range of including:
