Senior Lecturer in addition:*To supervise optometrists on Placements for Higher Certificates in Glaucoma in the glaucoma clinics.*To co-ordinate a programme of evaluation, and research to assess the quality and impact of teaching and learning, and, to make a significant contribution to the international development of such teaching.Scholarship

1. GOC registration. You will be expected to maintain CPD to ensure continued GOC registration, and to uphold membership of an NHS Health Board to practice as an Optometrist in the Cardiff University, and/or any associated, patient-facing clinics.2. A Higher Certificate in Glaucoma or a Diploma in Glaucoma or a comparable qualification.3. Postgraduate Certificate in University Teaching and Learning and/or equivalent qualification or willingness to work towards one.4. Grade 7: Substantial experience at advanced practice in Glaucoma Grade 8: Substantial experience at advanced practice in glaucoma with national leadership in glaucoma clinical practiceKnowledge, Skills and Experience
5. Grade 7: Substantial clinical supervision or teaching experience at undergraduate/postgraduate level. Grade 8: experience teaching at advanced clinical practice.6. 5. Welsh Language skills.
