About the RoleThe Marketing and Communications Officer plays a pivotal role in our marketing and recruitment work, with a focus on supporting the development and delivery of marketing and communications through different channels. The role is varied and includes working on the web, social media, emails and printed marketing publications. You’ll play a key part in a small team in raising the profile of your academic School, and provide communications advice, support student recruitment activities and contribute to marketing and communications for a variety of audiences.About YouApplicants must have experience working in marketing or communications roles, with an understanding of marketing strategies. It is essential to have experience in using a Customer Relationship Management system (CRM) to prepare and deliver email communications. Applicants will enjoy cross-function and collaborative working and with multiple stakeholders. As well as experience managing social media channels, creating engaging content and monitoring performance. Applicants must have good communication skills across all channels and with all stakeholders.About the School of EECSOur researchers work with the arts and sciences collaborating with psychologists, biologists, musicians and actors, mathematicians, medical researchers, dentists and lawyers.
