Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the fast growing and dynamic Executive Education team at Imperial College Business School.

This key role is designed to support, develop and deliver the Executive Education marketing and events activities that directly support revenue generating opportunities for our Open, Custom and Partnership programmes.

Duties and responsibilities

You will have responsibility for creating high quality marketing, digital and social content to support the Executive Education brand development and exposure across all channels.

You will be responsible for the project management and delivery of events designed to increase the brand and develop business to business revenue generating and pipeline opportunities. Responsibilities will include pre-event logistics, social media promotion, live event support, relevant reporting, evaluation and follow up activities.

Essential requirements

  • A professional qualification in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, (OR sufficient experience)
  • Proven experience as an event coordinator
  • Proven experience in marketing / website related activities including email marketing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with copywriting experience
  • Project management experience
  • Specific experience of using a range of social media platforms
  • Experience of working in a customer focused sector
  • Experience of organising corporate events – face-to-face, virtual and online
  • Excellent IT skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and the ability to learn and use other software packages as well as Salesforce
  • Strong administrative and organisation skills with great attention to detail
