Youth for Climate and Nature (YouCAN) is an exciting program focused on young people’s
experience and voice around the climate and nature crisis in the New Forest area. This role
will support the work of the New Forest National Park Authority’s Education and Youth team in
delivering this project. 

Our National Park Intern role is designed to give young people a wide portfolio of skills,
understanding and insight of the public engagement work that takes place within a protected
landscape. You’ll get paid a good wage from a ‘green job’ that’s good for the environment and
learn lots of skills to boost your CV.

access the outdoors and connect with nature?

  • Fixed term until July 2026
  • Up to 35 hours per week
  • Working hours to include evenings and weekends to cover events
  • Based at our offices in Lymington but will work across the New Forest
