The team
The Business Energy Scotland (BES) commissioning team plays a critical role in delivering
expert advice and support to businesses across Scotland, helping them improve energy efficiency
and reduce carbon emissions.
We work closely with Business Energy advisors, energy consultants, and other stakeholders to
ensure that businesses receive high-quality energy efficiency reports and financial support.
Our team thrives on collaboration, innovation, and a shared commitment to sustainability.
The role
As operations officer, you will be at the heart of our efforts to support Scottish businesses
in reducing their energy consumption and transitioning to a low-carbon future. This role
combines two essential functions: commissioning energy efficiency reports and supporting the
financial operations of the BES programme.
Your work will ensure that businesses receive timely and high-quality support, and will play a
key role in tracking project progress, managing consultant relationships, and maintaining
efficient financial administration processes. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to
a sustainable future while developing valuable skills in project coordination and financial
management.
