We are looking for an Administrator to join the RSPB Loch Lomond nature reserve team.
RSPB Loch Lomond is found on the south-eastern shores of the world-famous loch, just 1 mile from the village of Gartocharn. The reserve is home to a wide variety of exceptional wildlife and habitats, as well as some modest visitor facilities and stunning walks. The reserve team manage the habitats and visitor facilities from a small site office based in the farmyard on the reserve. Balancing practical habitat work, facilities maintenance, project delivery and visitor management can be complex, and requires the skills of an experienced administrator to help keep everything running smoothly to allow us all to deliver the best we can for nature.
As an Administrator you will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Loch Lomond reserve team, facilitating the delivery of work programmes and an effective working environment.
This is a permanent, part-time contract for 22.5 hours per week. Please note that this role cannot be fully remote and will require attendance at the RSPB Loch Lomond site office for at least 1 day per week.
We are looking to conduct interviews for this position from 2nd March 2026. For further information please contact [email protected].
As part of this application process you will be asked to complete an application form including evidence on how you meet the skills, knowledge, and experience listed above.
We are committed to developing an inclusive and diverse RSPB, in which everyone feels supported, valued, and able to be their full selves. People of colour and disabled people are currently underrepresented across the environment, climate, sustainability, and conservation sector. If you identify as a person of colour and/or disabled, we are particularly interested in receiving your application. Contact us to discuss any additional support you may need to complete your application.
The RSPB is an equal opportunities employer. This role is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
This role is not eligible for UK Visa Sponsorship – the successful applicant will need to have a pre-existing Right to Work in the UK in order to be offered an employment contract.
