Introduction
UNDP Tanzania invites qualified and experienced firms to submit proposals for the provision of Photography, Storytelling and Coffee-Table Book Production Services for the Kigoma Joint Programme (KJP). The assignment involves documenting programme results across nine thematic areas through professional photography, human-interest stories, translation, editorial development, graphic design, and production of a high-quality coffee-table book in both print and digital formats. The selected firm will be responsible for conducting field photography across Kigoma Region, developing a minimum of three stories per thematic area, producing at least 200 high-resolution edited photographs, creating print-ready and web-ready publication files, and ensuring compliance with UN editorial standards, donor visibility requirements, safeguarding principles, and ethical storytelling practices.
Interested firms should submit a comprehensive technical proposal outlining their methodology, editorial approach, work plan, timeline, risk and ethics management measures, and proposed team composition. Proposals must also include a company profile, valid business registration and tax documents, relevant portfolio samples demonstrating similar assignments, CVs of key personnel, and an all-inclusive financial proposal covering field deployment and associated costs. Bidders should carefully review the Terms of Reference and ensure that their submissions clearly demonstrate the experience, technical capacity, and qualifications required to successfully deliver the assignment. Award will be made using the Combined Scoring Method, with technical quality weighted at 70% and financial proposal at 30%.
