We have an exciting opportunity for a PMO Manager to join Warmer Homes London (WHL) to support the governance and management of our London-wide retrofit programmes.
Warmer Homes London (WHL) is a new organisation jointly funded by the Mayor of London and London Councils, designed to make Londoners’ homes greener, healthier and more affordable to heat. We’re working in partnership with housing associations and local authorities to invest £231m into improving the energy efficiency of London’s housing through two major programmes.
The role’s primary focus will be to support London’s Strategic Partnership of 27 members, delivering a £78 million grant over three years through the Warm Homes: Social Housing Fund (SHF) Wave 3.
You’ll play a key role in helping WHL achieve its strategic goals by developing and maintaining governance arrangements and ensuring the Programme Management Office (PMO) for London’s SHF Strategic Partnership operates efficiently.
As a senior member of the Programme Management Office, you’ll be instrumental in developing a culture of collaboration, learning and continuous improvement.
Provide comprehensive, end-to-end support across our Strategic Partnership governance structure – ensuring good governance practices are followed.
Collaboratively shape systems, policies and processes that meet the needs of members in our Partnership and contribute to strategic goals and outcomes.
Coordinate evaluation activities and use programme learnings to increase the quality and efficiency of retrofitting across London.
Report to Programme Boards within a risk and assurance remit – to hold WHL to account and ensure we meet the needs of our members, funding bodies and residents.
The successful candidate will have experience of delivering PMO services (ideally in a multi-organisation context), be adept at managing change and handling stakeholder communications, and have a demonstrable track record of successfully managing complex compliance, governance and legal frameworks.
