Faculty of Health and Life SciencesThis new full-time post is available from 1st January 2025 on a fixed term basis until 31st December 2028.The postThe Faculty wishes to recruit a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to undertake a programme of research investigating balance and movement mechanisms in older people, using cutting edge facilities at the University of Exeter as part of the STEPPING OUT project. This European Research Council (ERC) funded post is available from 1st September 2024.About youThe successful applicant will be able to develop research objectives, projects and proposals; identify sources of research funding and contribute to the process of securing funds and make presentations at conferences and other events.Applicants will possess a relevant PhD or equivalent qualification/experience in a related field of study. The successful applicant will be a nationally recognised authority in Clinical Biomechanics and sensory motor function in posture and gait, and possess sufficient specialist knowledge in the discipline to develop research programmes and methodologies.
