Introduction

This tender is public but restricted to local suppliers. It is directed to companies that are legally constituted or registered in the country of Guyana and involves the purchase of hardware equipment.

This procurement process aims to acquire a set of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) equipment to support the continuity, reliability, and security of operational activities. The scope of the acquisition includes uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, backup batteries for workstations and server infrastructure, a network cabinet, and office equipment, all of which are critical to ensuring power protection, data integrity, and stable ICT operations.

The required equipment is intended to strengthen existing ICT infrastructure by providing adequate power backup, voltage regulation, and secure housing for network and server components. All items must comply with the minimum technical specifications outlined in the attached list and be suitable for professional and institutional use. Suppliers are expected to offer new, unused equipment, fully compliant with applicable safety and quality standards.
