Job Title: Primary Teaching Assistant (TA)

Salary: £86 – £100 per day (Depending on experience)

This is a full-time position ideal for individuals aspiring to build a career in education or those with prior experience supporting young pupils in a classroom setting.About the Role:As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will support class teachers in the delivery of engaging lessons, assist in pupil progress and behaviour management, and work closely with children to provide individualised support where needed. You will play a key role in fostering a positive, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for all pupils.Responsibilities Include:

• Support the teacher in planning and delivering classroom activities.
• Work one-to-one or with small groups to support pupils’ learning and development.
• Assist with classroom organisation, displays, and resources.
• Promote positive behaviour and help maintain a safe and respectful classroom environment.
• Provide support to pupils with additional learning needs or EAL (English as an Additional Language).
• Communicate effectively with staff, pupils, and parents to ensure individual needs are met.
• Monitor pupil progress and contribute to assessment and feedback as required.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Previous experience working in a primary school or educational setting.
• A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2/3 desirable).
• A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to working with children.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• An understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
• Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
