• Security consulting specifically in all of the following:

• Technical security systems design (video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, duress, real-time locating and the integration and networking of these systems)
• Physical Security Audits and Assessments
• Involved in stakeholder engagement and running requirements workshops with clients and stakeholders
• Participate in workshops to elicit technical and functional requirements from a broad range of stakeholders, and developing client-focused solutions across a varied mix of technologies.
• Advise clients as a subject matter expert and represent WSP as leaders in the Security and Technology field.
• Develop professional, client-facing documents, including technical specifications and reports, using standard software tools such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS Visio, MS PowerPoint, Bluebeam Studio and Adobe Acrobat, among others;
• Interpret and review typical design and construction issue technical drawings developed using REVIT, AutoCAD and similar tools;
• Participate in technical and project meetings with a varied audience and participant mix, including management/executive, end-user, and technical personnel;
• Instruct and guide less experienced team members in the development/production of CAD/Revit project deliverables;

What you’ll bring to WSP:

• Min 5 years’ experience in a security consultancy
• Familiarity with alternate delivery models (Alliance, DBFM, Design Build, etc.) is an asset.
• Experience with Threat Risk Assessments and Physical Security is an asset
• Be accomplished in delivering presentations
• Ability to obtain a Public Works and Government Services Canada Level 2 security clearance and work in a secure environment.
• Must be able to work normal hours of Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm, but also be willing to work overtime including evening and weekends when necessary.
• Must be willing to travel periodically and as required for project assignments.
• Must hold valid driver’s license and vehicle for travel to client sites.
