The Board of Electors to the Professorship of Translational Auditory Neuroscience invites applications from individuals known internationally for their research record in translational auditory neuroscience for hearing device users, and medical device translation.Cambridge is a growing centre for hearing and vision research and is looking to further the applied and translational auditory neuroscience research programme to help with the understanding of sensory loss and the impact on perception. The research programme is expected to develop diagnostic objective and behavioural measures of hearing function, create novel adaptations to current medical devices based on neurological function and perception, and produce tailored interventions to help deaf adults and children.We are seeking candidates who have:
