YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Proactively lead, plan and implement quality improvement and service redesign projects within and across divisions under the direction of the complex discharge manager and site operations manager.
The post holder will be responsible for leading and co-ordinating multi-disciplinary teams to ensure demonstrable and sustainable improvements are achieved and fully delivered.
Provide professional project management expertise using appropriate tools and techniques. Apply change management skills and experience to achieve project and workstream objectives.
They will need a high degree of motivational skill, working closely with colleagues at all levels in the organisation, clinical and non-clinical and where appropriate the wider healthcare community. They will need experience of influencing behaviour, in often challenging situations
This role requires knowledge and experience in the application of service redesign, project management and Quality Improvement tools and techniques, either through working in a background of improvement and transformation, or lived experience working clinically or operationally.
We are looking for individuals with a background in two or more of the following:
Change management expertise (service reviews, redesigning clinical pathways, process improvement, design thinking, practical problem solving)
Behavioural change (application of approaches to influence a change in the habits and behaviours of our workforce)
Project management (application of project management tools and techniques to achieve specific project objectives and deliverables to time and within budget)
Operations (eg. Operational manager, flow co-ordinator, service manager)
Clinical (eg. Allied health professional / clinical sciences / doctor / nursing)
The successful candidates(s) will be required to work in the hospital environment but not directly with patients.
