We apply economics thinking and analytical tools across a wide range of sectors and contexts, including:

We are looking to recruit an economist to join our in-house team as a Researcher providing support across all service areas. You will work with other researchers and the wider team to, undertake evidence reviews, contribute to economic appraisal and evaluation projects; undertake statistical analysis and stakeholder engagement, and contribute to report and proposal writing.
We are seeking someone with strong numerical, analytical and communication skills, and the ability to express complex ideas simply and logically. You will be a highly motivated team player who is flexible and willing to take initiative. You should also have an interest in and knowledge of environmental issues in general and policy in the UK and EU.
Essential skills include:
- An undergraduate degree in Economics or a postgraduate degree with modules relevant to environmental and regulatory economics;
- The ability to write and communicate in English to a high standard; and
- Strong organisational skills, with an ability to prioritise tasks.
Desirable skills include:
- A postgraduate degree in a relevant subject, such as environmental economics;
- Working knowledge of statistics and econometrics;
- The ability to work in other EU languages; and
- Relevant work experience in environmental and regulatory economics.
