Residential Support Worker (Children) – £29,512- £31,482 (including enhancements and extras) –Bognor, PO21The RoleHave you worked in a residential setting with children between the ages of 7-17? Do you possess the skills to promote positive behaviour and create a supportive environment for growth? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you.As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a pivotal role in providing holistic care and support to children and young people with Social and Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties. Working within our 3-bed Children’s home, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being, safety, and development of the young people under your care.Note: We do not sponsor individuals to work with us.Key Responsibilities:

• Enable children/young people to establish their identity within their home environment.
• Ensure the wishes and feelings of children/young people are considered in all aspects of their care.
• Support children/young people in maintaining meaningful relationships.
• Provide opportunities for education, development, and enrichment.
• Promote the health and well-being of each child/young person.
• Work in partnership with parents, carers, and other professionals.
• Maintain accurate records and reports in line with data protection regulations.
• Create a safe and secure environment for children/young people.
• Promote positive behaviour and respond effectively to challenging situations.
• Commit to ongoing professional development and learning.
• Demonstrate compassionate and decisive leadership when supporting colleagues.
• Lead supervision sessions with colleagues, delivering clear and concise targets.
