Scottish Invasive Species Initiative Seasonal Project Officer x4

We’re presently on the lookout for 4 x Seasonal Venture Officers in numerous places throughout challenge

The Scottish Invasive Species Initiative is a multi-year challenge in northern Scotland, which
goals to encourage communities to deal with invasive non-native species similar to Japanese knotweed,
big hogweed and American mink. It’s presently funded by the Scottish Authorities’s Nature
Restoration Fund.

• Seasonal Venture Officer (Dee)
• Seasonal Venture Officer (Esks and Tay)
• Seasonal Venture Officer (Findhorn, Nairn and Lossie)
• Seasonal Venture Officer (Spey)

The Seasonal Venture Officers will likely be liable for all or specified combos of the next features of the
challenge: communications, training and outreach, volunteer recruitment and administration, biosecurity and invasive species management.
