Award-winning environmental education charity, Wild Things, is seeking an experienced outdoor practitioner to join the fieldwork team in the delivery of our charitable and social enterprise programmes.
Contract Duration: March-November 2026
Hours: 35 hours per week (fulltime) or we may consider a part time role also
Salary: £26,500 per annum (pro rata)

The right candidate for this role must have experience delivering environmental education and bushcraft skills to a broad client group as well as being able to process information quickly and lead groups from the start.
We would like to bring into the team someone who is playful yet professional, who loves spending time outdoors, sharing their passion for the natural world with both young and old. Our ideal candidate will engage people on a variety of activities that promote an understanding and care for the environment as well as the health and wellbeing of our clients and participants.
The successful candidate will not only contribute towards a wide variety of outdoor education activities across Moray and the Highlands through our various charitable programmes, but will deliver a wide variety of social enterprise and conservation activities with both clients and volunteers.
To enable the smooth flow of our programmes, the ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills and have experience of logistics, preparing resources, session plans and caring for equipment and tools.
