We are seeking to update our roster of writers and story-tellers. Successful candidates on our roster will be experienced individuals or companies, interested and available to support WWF’s communication projects. The opportunities could run from 1-2 days of work to many months, and will require writing/copy editing skills. We are interested to hear from candidates based in Myanmar, Asia Pacific and those who are able to work remotely. Candidates meeting our requirements will be notified when a suitable assignment is available.
Examples of consultancy work offered (Tasks and responsibilities)
- Writing / editing materials: media releases, articles, interviews, reports, presentations, web stories, social media posts.
- The ability to work and travel within Myanmar is likely to be necessary for these commissions.
To be considered for inclusion in WWF’s roster of communications consultants, applicants need to have expertise in one or more of the areas: Writing and Internal & External communications/ engagement.
Expected Profile / Qualification and Expertise
- Degree in mass communication, public relations, marketing, graphic design, video production or related field.
- Demonstrated experience working individually and meeting deadlines is essential. Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, supported by good digital skills.
- Proficiency in English and Myanmar language is essential.

- A cover letter, clearly identifying the candidate’s qualifications and expertise (as detailed above) and stating expected fees as a daily rate in US dollars. Fee information should be expressed as a net amount. Successful applicants will need to submit evidence of previous work compensated at a similar rate.
