Location: Bournemouth
Salary: £13.68 – £16.12 per hour
Start date: Immediate or September

Their balanced curriculum combines academic learning with social development, ensuring that each student’s unique needs and goals are met. Many of the students have an Education, Health, and Care Plan, and they also support those at risk of exclusion or who have been excluded from mainstream schools. They have small classrooms maintained by teacher and TA building strong relationship with students. The school is recognised as a safe and supportive environment, promoting a curriculum that enhances academic, personal, social, and emotional development, and are proud to have an outstanding Ofsted rating.About the RoleAs a SEN Classroom Support, you will play a crucial role in supporting teachers and students across various subjects and age groups. From assisting in classroom activities to providing one-on-one support, your dedication will contribute to creating an engaging and enriching learning experience for all students.Responsibilities include:

• Support teachers in delivering lessons and implementing learning activities.
• Provide individualised support to students with diverse learning needs.
• Assist with classroom management and behaviour management strategies.
• Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to meet the educational needs of students.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children or young people is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• A patient and empathetic approach to supporting students.
• Commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
