In this role, you’ll have the chance to indulge your passion for education, aiding students aged 4-11 in their social, emotional, and academic development. If you have experience with children or a caregiving background, a teaching assistant role could be your next perfect step. Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to learners on a 1:1 or small group basis
  • Serve as a positive role model in the classroom
  • Assist the class teacher in preparing resources and learning activities
  • Establish positive relationships with staff, learners, and families
  • Work harmoniously with other team members
  • Approach each day with enthusiasm and dedication

Requirements:

  • A genuine enthusiasm for working with children and fostering a love for learning
  • GCSE Maths and English grades C or above (or equivalent)
  • Experience in working with children or in a childcare setting
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Confidence and motivation to guide individuals/small groups in their learning
  • An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (No sponsorship provided)
