If you’re enthusiastic, patient, and ready for a rewarding challenge, this role could be perfect for you.A welcoming and supportive Special Needs School in Chippenham is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team full-time, Monday to Friday, starting ASAP. You’ll work closely with the class teacher, providing both academic and emotional support to students, helping them develop key life skills along the way.What makes this role exciting?Every day is different. You will be working with students who have a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, cerebral palsy, Tourette’s, and Down syndrome. Flexibility and adaptability are key, as you’ll tailor your support to each child’s individual needs. The school also places a strong focus on life skills, so expect hands-on activities like cooking, sports, and sensory learning – bringing fun and creativity to the classroom.What we’re looking for:

• Passion over experience – If you have prior experience with SEN children or adults (professionally or personally), that is a bonus. Above all, we are looking for someone with energy, empathy, and a can-do attitude.
• A team player – You will be working closely with teachers, therapists, and other staff to create the best learning environment for the students so be ready to join a friendly team.
