About Our Client:Our client is seeking a professional Senior Financial Analyst with at least 3 years of accounting experience.Responsibilities

Organize journal entries for revenue streams and cost areas
Record month end accruals and work closely with Sales, Operations & Business Enablement teams
Execute month-end activities including accruals, re classes & intercompany allocation entries
Collaborate with billing team on revenue recognition under IFRS 15
Review analytics of period-end financial results and document results
Work closely with stakeholders to investigate key issues driving variances
Perform end to end monthly forecasting and annual budget cycle
Work with BU primes and key stakeholders to prepare senior level presentations
Contribute ideas regarding global finance transformation projects & system enhancement goals
Strategize improvement goals including process improvement, and data/technology-driven efficiencies
Help maintain high quality internal controls including adherence to SOX requirements

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
CPA designation or progress towards completion preferred
At least 3 years of accounting experience
Strong knowledge of IFRS and experience in accounting and reporting for a public listed company
Advanced proficiency in in Microsoft Office Suite & Google Docs
Working knowledge of SAP, Workday, Hyperion and Adaptive Planning
Knowledge on information technology or professional service sectors (asset)
Background working with project accounting and reporting
