About Our Client:Our client is seeking a professional Senior Financial Analyst with at least 3 years of accounting experience.Responsibilities

• Organize journal entries for revenue streams and cost areas
• Record month end accruals and work closely with Sales, Operations & Business Enablement teams
• Execute month-end activities including accruals, re classes & intercompany allocation entries
• Collaborate with billing team on revenue recognition under IFRS 15
• Review analytics of period-end financial results and document results
• Work closely with stakeholders to investigate key issues driving variances
• Perform end to end monthly forecasting and annual budget cycle
• Work with BU primes and key stakeholders to prepare senior level presentations
• Contribute ideas regarding global finance transformation projects & system enhancement goals
• Strategize improvement goals including process improvement, and data/technology-driven efficiencies
• Help maintain high quality internal controls including adherence to SOX requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• CPA designation or progress towards completion preferred
• At least 3 years of accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and experience in accounting and reporting for a public listed company
• Advanced proficiency in in Microsoft Office Suite & Google Docs
• Working knowledge of SAP, Workday, Hyperion and Adaptive Planning
• Knowledge on information technology or professional service sectors (asset)
• Background working with project accounting and reporting

Expected salary

$85000 per year
