Job Title: Electrical Engineer Infrastructure and FacilitiesLocation: Samlesbury – – We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.Salary: 54,793What you’ll be doing:· Working as part of a team responsible for operational, project and governance support matters of Electrical Engineering and Electrical Safety· Reviewing HV and LV power system studies including fault, load flow, protection and arc flash studies. Providing independent assessments of HV and LV engineering designs to the Design Authority· Developing project scope, specifications and designs, also developing and supporting engineering standards and processes for both Warton and Samlesbury sites and for offshore areas of the business· Reviewing, amending and producing Electrical Safety Management documents, including creating and developing relevant company guides, standards and processes for Electrical engineering, including Interpreting and guiding on British, European and International standards· Working with LV Building Services, HV/LV Utilities Distribution, ATEX/DSEAR, Fire Alarm installations, Lighting, Emergency Lighting, Lightning Protection and Earthing systems. Reviewing such installations to ensure their compliance· Working directly on HV and LV networks in an operational capacity, to maintain safety and business continuity to enable maintenance activities, network development, management and restorationYour skills and experience:

  • Hold an academic qualification, minimum HNC/HND, preferably degree level
  • Design and/or Operational experience of HV (up to 11KV) and LV Electrical Distribution Systems
  • Demonstrable HV and LV electrical engineering experience (Previous authorisation from previous company)
  • Demonstrable previous experience of managing contractors and consultants
