Overview:Reporting to the staging Manager. The Staging engineer will be performing technical and academic tasks on telecommunication equipment to stage and test requests within defined SLA’s. Working closely with the Warehouse, Maintenance and Inventory teams to ensure the correct components are processed and passed on to the relevant team in a timely manner.Updating templates, shared points and migration tools are essential so reporting and organisational skills are required. Technical knowledge and certifications in IT networking are required. Experienced in working with Cisco hardware and software is essential as this is the main part of the day to day activities.Experience in managing projects until completion and reporting configurations issues promptly to achieve deadlines. Fast learning for fast moving technology with good computer and networking devices knowledge. Training will be provided for the processes and technical assessment will be performed periodically.Training on new products is continuous to insure all requests are processed. Responsibilities:Staging Operative

• To liaise with project controller to identify stock required for order
• To co-ordinate with warehouse and pick order, then separate parts for staging
• Use project staging template to locate specific project staging requirements and instructions
• Record project configuration data of part
• To check other stagers output for errors
• To check parts are clean and fit for reuse without damage
• To reset part configurations when able to do so and identify action taken
• To reset parts to factory default settings
• To affect minor repairs if possible to do so

Qualifications:# CCNA or equivalent qualifications.# Computer literate and able to draft processes.
