As part of its HR team, Gaming1 is looking for a Talent Development Manager who will be responsible for designing, implementing and continuously enhancing talent development initiatives that drive both individual growth and organisational performance. You will partner closely with managers and HR Business Partners to ensure employees have the skills, capabilities and development opportunities needed to achieve business objectives.

Beyond traditional learning and development activities, you will drive initiatives that reinforce a culture of accountability, high performance, and continuous improvement.

YOUR ROLE

Talent Development & Learning

  • Define and implement the company’s Talent Development strategy aligned with business priorities;
  • Design and deploy learning and development programs for employees, managers and C-levels;
  • Identify critical competencies and future capability needs across the organization;
  • Build and maintain learning pathways for key functions and populations;
  • Manage relationships with external training providers and partners;
  • Measure the effectiveness and impact of development initiatives through relevant KPIs.

Performance Management

  • Own and continuously improve the company’s performance management framework;
  • Support managers in setting objectives, providing feedback, and conducting performance reviews;
  • Develop tools, processes, and training to promote a high-performance culture;
  • Monitor the effectiveness and consistency of performance evaluation practices;
  • Use data and insights to identify performance trends, development needs, and organizational risks;
  • Partner with leaders to address performance gaps and build action plans.

Leadership Development

  • Design and facilitate leadership development programs for managers and future leaders;
  • Coach managers on performance conversations, talent assessment and employee development;
  • Support succession planning and leadership pipeline initiatives;
  • Strengthen leadership capabilities that drive engagement, accountability, and business performance.

Talent Management

  • Lead talent review and succession planning processes across the business;
  • Identify high-potential employees and support their development journeys;
  • Contribute to retention initiatives through targeted development opportunities;
  • Build career development frameworks that support internal mobility and long-term growth.

People Analytics & Continuous Improvement

  • Establish meaningful talent and performance metrics;
  • Analyze workforce and performance data to support decision-making;
  • Provide recommendations to leadership based on talent insights and market trends;
  • Continuously improve development and performance processes to maximize business impact.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration or equivalent;
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Talent Development, Learning & Development, Talent Management, or Organizational Development;
  • Strong experience managing performance management frameworks and development programs;
  • Experience working in fast-paced and evolving environments;
  • Strong understanding of talent development and performance management best practices;
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization;
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to leverage data to drive decisions;
  • Project management and change management capabilities;
  • Excellent communication skills in English and French;
  • Performance-oriented and business-focused;
  • Passionate about developing people and helping them succeed;
  • Results-driven with a continuous improvement mindset;
  • Pragmatic, proactive, and solution-oriented;
  • Able to challenge constructively and drive change.
