The main duty is to undertake seminars, tutorials and group work and to mark and give feedback on students’ work. You may also be required to supervise student projects and carry out teaching-related administrative duties. Training and career development opportunities are provided. Teaching contributions are within an agreed programme of content overseen by module leaders.The contract is equivalent to approx. 0.4 of a full-time post, fixed term for 3 years from 1st September 2024 until 31st August 2027. The time commitment for each role will vary over the year, and the postholder would expect to work more intensively during teaching and assessment periods. In the 2021 UK Research Excellence Framework the School was returned to two sub panels, Sociology and Education.
