IT Project Manager
Toronto, ON – Hybrid
6 MonthsResponsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of IT projects, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding and alignment of project objectives.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring adherence to timelines and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, designers, and business stakeholders, to ensure effective project execution.
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies and contingency plans as necessary.
  • Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective communication.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members, ensuring clarity of roles, responsibilities, and expectations.
  • Conduct project post-mortems and lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices for future projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, successfully delivering complex IT projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and PMBOK.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and IT infrastructure.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Experience in managing projects related to workflow management systems is a plus.
