You will provide strategic guidance on cash operational projects and serve as the primary liaison between various internal and external stakeholders.As a key member of the Banking operations team, the candidate will be responsible for managing relationships with Banks, and Credit card processors, as well as driving transformation initiatives to support our banking operations objectives. Autonomy, along with strong communication and organizational skills, are essential for success in this role. Additionally, you will supervise, coach, and mentor staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.What you’ll do here:Responsible for overseeing Banking operations ensuring accepted policies and procedures are adhered to, and that any fraud and risk to the organization is mitigated.Oversee bank account structures for operational efficiency and compliance, including opening and closing of accounts & updates to signing authorities.Responsible for leading and supporting various cash operational projects.Assist in managing bank and credit card relationships, negotiating service agreements to ensure cost-effective operations.Review and refresh of internal control policies, procedures and the business continuity plan.Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations.Manage and support internal and external audits.QualificationsCPA – is requiredMinimum 5 years experience leading an operations team with a large publicly traded companyAbility to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and handle ambiguityKnowledge of banking products would be an assetOrganized self-starter, with a customer service focus and proven ability to manage a team and complex tasksKnowledge of Oracle would be an assetWhat we offerOur hybrid work model provides the balance between working from home and enjoying meaningful in-person interactions.Working here means you’ll be empowered to be and do your best every day.
