The ideal candidate will be responsible for management of subcontracts required to operationalize a large multi-site multi-trial Data Coordinating Center. This includes establishing and managing sub-Other Transaction Authority (OTA) contracts with universities, clinical research sites, contract research organizations and other organizations required as part of the clinical trial operationalization. What You”ll Do Responsible for initiating, submitting, and managing multiple sub-Other Transaction Authority (OTA) contracts with universities, clinical research sites, contract research organizations and other organizations and/or vendor-provided services (e.g. biorepository/laboratory, health technology/API, electronic data capture systems, investigational product management, site management/monitoring) required to achieve clinical trial operationalization and implementation. Serves as a liaison between the subcontract and technical/clinical teams to communicate and provide guidance to the institutions with which RTI partners. Conducts risk review to assess contractual and financial risk to RTI. Works with subcontractor to onboard them to SupplierGateway. Processes invoices for tracking, review, and approval to ensure compliance with contractual terms as defined by the OTA. Maintains and adheres to standard operating procedures. What You”ll Need Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor”s Degree and at least 8 years of experience, or a Master”s degree and at least 6 years of experience, or a PhD and at least 1 year of experience. Excellent knowledge of Smartsheet, MS Teams, Word, Outlook, Excel. Familiarity with SupplierGateway, OnBase, and the Subcontracts database or equivalent systems. Familiarity with NIH and Other Transaction Authority (OTA) contracting mechanisms. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work well with others in a team capacity. Responsive to deadlines and meeting milestones. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Ability to listen and communicate well both verbally and in writing. Our pay ranges represent national averages and may vary by location as a geographic differential may be applied to some locations within the United States. RTI considers multiple factors when making an offer including, for example: established salary range, internal budget, business needs, and education and years of work experience possessed by the applicant.
